St. Olaf College’s 3,000 students come from 90 countries, every state, and a variety of religious and non-religious backgrounds. One of the nation’s leading liberal arts colleges, St. Olaf offers more than 85 majors, concentrations, and pre-professional tracks, and more than 95 percent of students live on campus or in college-owned houses nearby.
St. Olaf’s beautiful 300-acre campus is located in Northfield, Minnesota. The college is home to 16 academic and administrative buildings, 30 student residences, and 10 athletic facilities. Situated on a hilltop, the campus overlooks 325 acres of college-owned wetlands, woodlands, and prairie. The college’s wind turbine rises above 40 acres of solar panels, enabling St. Olaf to achieve 100 percent carbon-free electrical power.
